"Malmö elektriska spårväg" – "Malmö electrical tramway"
With traffic inaugurated in 1906, Malmö, Sweden's third city and located just opposite Danish Copenhagen, once was one of twelve Swedish cities with a tramway. Though of vital importance to the inhabitants of Malmö the Malmö tramways ceased to operate in 1973, though surviving for a few years the fate of many other Swedish tramways, being closed when Sweden changed from driving on the left side of the road to driving on the right.
The authors tell in an illustration-filled account the interesting story of the Malmö tramways.
